Health and Nutrition from a Producer's prospective. It is audition time! You have spent hours in vocal lessons, acting coaching, weeks of strict and painful Pilates, dance and Yoga classes to be in tip-top-shape for your big break! Finally, your hard work and preparation paid off - You got the lead and made it through the intense rehearsal process. BUT you suddenly developed a cough, post nasal drip, sore muscles and it sounds like a frog has migrated to your throat. Your director is concerned and calls over your UNDERSTUDY!

We all know what this feels like in this cut-throat entertainment industry. Whether you're a recording artist, film actor or stage performer you need to be healthy to earn your money. If you're sick you can't perform. You are willing to spend hours on coaching, repertoire lessons and Personal training sessions but forget about supplementing your body with the nutrients you need. So many professional performers neglect their diet. We have to remember that our bodies need fuel to run smoothly and give us the 'miles' we need. Weeks, even years, of physical and mental pounding will wear your body down and leave you more vulnerable to colds, viruses and other nasty sicknesses if you're not properly nourished.

Producers, Directors and Choreographers aren't coldblooded animals and know that getting the flu is part of life but when it comes to putting up a production we want to feel confident that our cast can handle the pressure and physical strain it takes to put up a show. If I learn that a performer is prone to getting sick or ill, close to opening night I might think twice before I cast him/her in the next big production.

I have discovered an incredible and powerful anti-oxidant - VEMMA. Invest in your health like you would invest in your career. So before you hop in your car, train or bus on your way to class, an audition or rehearsal, have a shot. If you want to learn more about VEMMA or purchase it right away please click on the following link:
