There are many forms of Flamenco, ranging from sad, serious dances to light, happy movements. Flamenco dancing is accompanied by dramatic, rapid guitar music and singing. The male dancers often have their arms up in the air, clicking their fingers or clapping their hands, while they stamp and tap out the rhythm with their toes and heels. The female dancers often arch their backs and do circular movements with the wrists while the arms are raised over the head. Both female and male dancers give encouraging shouts to each other as the dance continues.
