Ntsoana Contemporary Dance Theatre (Ntsoana) is a dance based organisation committed to exploring the changes and challenges that arise from living in South Africa, and the diverse and evolving South African cultures through the medium of contemporary dance and performing arts. Ntsoana aims to promote the necessity and importance of cultural heritage in modern society, both nationally and internationally.

Through its Training and Development Programme, young dancers are trained in Classical Ballet, Contemporary Dance Technique, Improvisation and Flamenco, with the intention of creating well rounded artists, with internationally competitive standards of performance, movement analysis and choreographic skills. The Training Programme gives the students the opportunity to work with Ntsoana on various projects at a professional level.

Ntsoana was formally registered as a Non Profit Organisation in 2006.

Ntsoanas Artistic Director, Sello Pesa, has performed extensively abroad in Europe, America, Russia, Mauritius, The Seychelles, Madagascar, Reunion Island and in Africa and is a great exponent of African Contemporary Dance.
